Overloop makes it easy to set up rules-based workflows, where you select events that trigger new events. Workflow automations are a great way to cut down on repetitive tasks which are nothing but time-killers for your salespeople. We touched on this briefly above, but it’s worth really explaining again. There’s also an email finder Chrome extension, which is also available through Overloop’s API. An email verifier checks why an email has been ignored, in case it’s no longer active or even if it was incorrect. There’s a bulk email finder, which also de-duplicates the contacts and emails in your list. You can search for specific people by first or last name when you know the company they work for. Overloop has a tool to find the email of anybody online. No matter how great a conversationalist you are in your emails, you can always use new emails to have more convos and create more deals. You can also track your email engagement, seeing when someone opens your email and if they’ve clicked the link inside it. Email syncing lets you connect your regular email account to Overloop (like Gmail). As email marketing software, you get your templates to build great-looking email campaigns, and these templates can be modified and saved. Overloop CRM has a massive slew of amazing features to transform your email into a powerful inbound and outbound selling machine. Document management is even more crucial as more companies allow remote and stay-at-home working. This lets team members work together on docs, and everyone will be aware that they are working on the most up-to-date version. Sometimes referred to as a content management system, or CMS, when you are dealing with teams, it’s a good idea to keep all documents in one place that is easily searchable. Pipeline management also shows you stats on deal profitability and deal rot, which is when a deal doesn’t progress in a while, nudging you to take action or move on. When you create deals, you can add notes, documents or specific tasks. The stages are customizable, and you can set up real-time notifications when a deal changes its status. It has the functionality of a kanban board, meaning you move deals across stages from left to right until completion. Deal and pipeline managementįirst off, there’s a great simple visual dashboard for keeping track of all your deals in the sales pipeline. We call this marketing, though at Overloop they tend to use the word “conversations.” That’s because this is not your old-school advertising game, but a form of inbound marketing which is more modern and personable, like a conversation. What’s more, importing contact data from spreadsheets, and exporting that data for 3rd parties, is a snap with CSV files. With these you can make detailed lists or “smart segments” which allow for personalized messaging. Group your contacts by company or organization, or add custom fields for further grouping and filtering. Not only does it help with the organization of your contacts, but it can also help you with lead generation, that is, finding new contacts to hopefully inject into your sales pipeline. It supports almost all kinds of video and audio types. Mainly, it is a video converter that is able to convert one video or audio to another video or audio format which is easier and more convenient to play on different applications and devices. IOrgSoft provides another program with "Flip" feature. In iMovie, you cannot flip the original file, but you can do so on the timeline, as a special effect. Go to o FlexClips online video editor, or click the Get Started Now button above to make a fine rotation of your iMovie or any other video directly. You may import video from a phone and find that it is upside down you will have to flip the video for it to make any sense to the viewer. Similarly, if the video is panning, it is better for the pan motion to move from left to right.Īnother reason why you may need to flip your video is due to errors in importing, or shooting the video. After you’ve made these adjustments, you can then import Cinematic mode clips into your project. This downloads the original Cinematic video clips into your Photos library and preserves the depth and focus metadata created during recording. Part III: Flip Video Using iMovie Alternatives Part I: Why Would You Need to Flip Video?Īs mentioned above, some positions will make your video have more impact the reason for the subject to stand to the right is because we read from left to right, and having the person on the right is stronger. When the ignition is switched off, the relay opens, and the secondary battery is isolated from the alternator and starter battery. ![]() Like a vehicle’s trailer battery charge circuit relay, a relay isolator is closed when the vehicle ignition is switched on, allowing both batteries to charge. However, the alternator field sense line can be relocated to an isolator output, and the alternator voltage regulator will adjust charge voltage accordingly.Īn isolator relay also installs between the alternator and batteries. Its cons are that its heat sink is relatively large (especially for high-current models), and the voltage drop across the diodes can reach ~0.7V, which could result in undercharging the batteries. The diode isolator pros include being easy to install, all passive, no moving parts, and therefore very reliable. Medium- and high-current diode isolators for one alternator and two or three batteries are readily available. This configuration allows for loads to be connected to the secondary battery without discharging the starter battery. A diode isolator installs between the alternator and the batteries the built-in diodes allow the vehicle alternator to charge both batteries but otherwise keep them electrically isolated. More common solutions employ a diode or a relay isolator, each with its own pros and cons. This may not be enough to charge several batteries and run other major DC loads, such as a three-way refrigerator. A possible drawback, however, is that trailer battery charging circuits are limited to 30 A. Modern trailer battery charging circuits are deactivated when the vehicle ignition is switched off, so the starter battery is isolated from the secondary battery and can’t be discharged by outside loads.Ī Y- adapter would still allow a trailer to be connected to the tow vehicle. One solution is to plug an extension cord into a vehicle’s seven-way trailer connector and use the battery charging circuit to charge the secondary battery. I do not desire a switch. Most of our vehicles are equipped with a single starter battery at the factory, but some of us may want to add a secondary battery or two to power a winch, a compressor, extra work lights, an audio system, or to augment our camper batteries – or some combination of these – all without idling the engine.īut to do so, we usually have to take steps to isolate the starter battery from the secondary battery so that our vehicle will start when it’s time to head home.Ī larger alternator is sometimes required as well. If you want a switch you can install one. There is no switch necessary for it to work. With a 1 wire alternator this does not work as all the voltage sensing is inside the alternator with no feed back from the battery. 7 volts low it simply turns on more field current and the voltage at the battery is the same as before you installed the isolator. The 3 wire alternator should have battery voltage feeding the Voltage regulator which feeds the field wire on your alternator an if the voltage at the battery is Anytime the engine is running both battery are being charge and when you shut the engine off the batteries are isolated. If you have a 3 wire alternator then the battery isolator works perfect. VSR charges the starting battery until it reaches a certain voltage like 13.8 volts then it kicks in the second battery and charges both. 7 volt higher regulator or instead use a (VSR) Voltage sensing relay. In this case you would want to change your voltage regulator to a. Example if your voltage regulator is 14.8 volts then you will charge at 14.1 volts at each battery. So if you have a one wire alternator your batteries will charge slower. There is a voltage drop acrossed the diodes of about. These high output diodes are pretty expensive.įor just a few dollars more you can buy a battery isolator which is just 2 diodes with a large heatsink to keep them cool. The current only goes one way on this alternator output line. The diodes would need to be able to handel the full current output of your alternator and a little more for saftey. You connect from the alternator output to each battery. Re: how to wire up 2 batteries using diodes KICK IT! Our original system had dependency between lifeforms to be more realistic as well. You need oxygen to have animals, you need plants to make oxygen, you need rain to have plants, you need heat and ocean to have rain, you need atmosphere to have heat. It always went atmosphere -> heat -> water -> oxygen -> earth-like world. There might be slight variation of the process but the big steps are the same and in our early prototypes we always ended-up with the same results. Realistic terraforming has mostly 1 best way to go at it. The third challenge is making the game replayable. And you can "migrate" cities for free (it only has a time cost) so you don't lose your resource investment. In Terraformers we eventually decided to have only "minimum" requirements for lifeforms so they don't die if you make progress in terraforming. Planing around the upcoming loss, by providing the information that it will happen and a sort of reward as you are still supposed to make progress is quite hard and comes back to the information overload. Same situation if you spread boreal forests to create oxygen, but then they died because the forest albedo absorbs more heat than the sand albedo and the increased warmth of the planet kills it off. If you create a city to mine out aquifers for the ocean and then the ocean floods your city, it creates a massive economic draw-back which can feel frustrating. And that happened a lot in our early prototypes. Usually in games it is not very fun when your invested resources to achieve the goal get destroyed because of said goal. As you terraform, water will rise, climate zones will move and the landscape will drastically change. The second challenge we faced is the changing environement. At some point we embraced this simplification and aimed to have all the core information required on the main screen so that the players doesn't have to switch screen / view-mode all the time. The more we worked at it, the more we had to simplify concepts and make numbers more easy to handle, such as having "atmosphere levels" rather than many different parameters to describe the atmosphere. I think that for a game to be fun the player needs to digest the information provided, then make a plan based on those information, act on that plan, see the results and repeat. As a nerd I loved it, but it wasn't a fun "game". The first prototype of Terraformers had an in-depth atmospheric planetary model with tons of parameters which could be interacted with down to the molecular heat capacity of gas, the albedo of a wide variety of surfaces, ocean circulation to transfer heat and so on. The first challenge comes from the overload of information. The challenge is mostly with making terraforming as the core gameplay AND to make it fun. It might be possible to make a fun game about this, but it is very very hard. Though after a couple years of prototyping and design itterations the game moved away from that original hardcore simulation idea. I'm with you, the very first idea for Terraformers was to try and do what you describe. The books are some of my favorites ever and Terraformers started as a massive spreadsheet because I was wondering if some of the ideas in the book were actually reallistic. >.Hey there, I'm a developper of Terrafomers a game about terraforming mars which is entirely inspired by KSR's Mars Trilogy. SkipMode is not being ported back to older DVRs, but it should work on the Mini (as long as it's connected to a Bolt.)īy subscribing, you are agreeing to Engadget's Terms and Privacy Policy. You'll know which shows have commercials that can be skipped, because they've got a big green skip button in the guide now. Your Bolt downloads the information, and is ready for skipping at will shortly after the shows are recorded. TiVo is managing this by basically having people watch the programs on certain networks (the top 20 or so most popular, between 4PM and midnight) and mark where the actual show begins and the commercials end. Easy, right? Right, but there are some limitations. ![]() It works just like it sounds, when you're watching a recorded program, a green icon will pop up and prompt you to hit the "D" button to skip commercials. With "SkipMode" TiVo drops in a feature featured its old competitor ReplayTV, and more recently by Dish Network's " Auto Hop" DVRs. The biggest changes however, are in the software. That's definitely one aspect that could use a 2015-style makeover to resemble modernized platforms like iOS, Xbox or Spotify. In general, things are the same as they ever were, including stuff like CableCARD setups, and transferring your Series Recordings via TiVo's sometimes-frustrating website. ![]() One tweak you'd almost miss? It's a rather unique design, and in our short time using it the box stayed cool and quiet. That funky arc shape isn't just there to stick out visually however, as VP Jim Denney told us it also allows the smaller box to vent from the bottom. It has the same integrated TiVo Stream features we dug on the Roamio, and it will work with the existing TiVo Mini boxes to extend the setup beyond your living room. Bolt loses the old analog video outputs and offers only an HDMI port - no breakout cable either - which shouldn't be a problem in 2015, but is worth knowing. For those who prefer six tuners and a larger built-in hard drive, the Roamio Pro will stick around, but it doesn't have the Bolt's 4K or new features. TiVo Bolt will replace the base Roamio (and eventually the Plus), as a 4-tuner DVR that also works for OTA or just streaming TV. Season 3 of Halo Infinite was seen to be a step in the right direction for 343 Industries, which has struggled to gain the approval of the community since the beginning of its tenure. With recreations like this, creators have over 20 years of maps to pull from, so it's not as if there'll be a shortage of inspiration, either. However, with such a powerful Forge mode, the developer now has the community to create an endless supply of maps for them, saving massively on development costs. Upon release, Halo Infinite was planned to be supported for over 10 years, a plan which to many quickly seemed like a pipe dream. This recreation shows how the long-term investment into Forge mode could pay off massively for 343 Industries. The large nature of the map also means it could actually be suited to Halo Infinite's modern gameplay, so it's possible that 343 Industries includes the map in an upcoming community playlist.
